Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo – 250ml
T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo is a fragranced medicated shampoo, which will have to be used as continuously as needed or as recommended for the Remedy of itchy, flaky scalp disorders.
It’s unique coal tar formulation is proven to help treat seborrhoeic dermatitis of the scalp, scalp psoriasis and dandruff. It works by reducing cell turnover, relieving inflammation and itching.
Regular use helps alleviate itching, reduce flakes and calm redness, leaving your hair shiny and manageable.

The Active Ingredient is: Neutar Solubilised Coal Tar Extract 20 mg/ml. Other Ingredients are:Macrogol Lauryl Ether (4), Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate, Cocodiethanolamide, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E218), Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E216), Tetrasodium EDTA, Citric Acid Anhydrous, Perfume (contains Esters of Benzoic Acid, Benzyl Benzoate and Butylated Hydroxytoluene (E321)), Sodium Chloride, Purified Water
Directions:
Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo. Neutar solubilised coal tar extract. All the time read the label. For Scalp Psoriasis, Dandruff and Seborrhoeic Dermatitis. Apply liberal amounts of Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo and massage into wet scalp. Leave on scalp for several minutes, rinse scalp, repeat application, then rinse scalp thoroughly. Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo will have to be used two to three times weekly. Remedy on a regular basis lasts for 6 weeks. Longer periods of Remedy will have to only take place under the supervision of a doctor. Not recommended for use in children below the age of 12 years
Warnings:
Do not use this product: When you have had a bad reaction to coal tar or any ingredients in this product. On inflamed or broken skin. If any of the above applies talk to your doctor or pharmacist. Pregnancy and Breast-feeding: Do not use in case you are pregnant or breast-feeding unless recommended by your doctor. Probably the most ingredients can cause problems: Methyl (E218) and Propyl (E216) parahydroxybenzoate may cause allergic reactions which could be delayed. Esters or benzoic acid, benzyl benzoate and butylated hydroxytoluene (E321) can mildly irritate the skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
Safety Warning:
Avoid contact with eyes. Coal tar may cause your skin to react to sunlight after use, so you will have to avoid direct sunlight immediately after use. In rare cases, there may be temporary discolouration of blond, bleached or tinted hair.
