The second number is the reflect which may also be Natural (.0), Warm (.3, .4, .5, .6) or Cool (.1, .2). For example, 4.0 is a Natural Dark Brown, 4.3 is a Dark Golden Brown. How to dye your hair at home with Garnier Belle Color Permanent Hair Dye: At all times do a patch test 48 hours in advance of the usage of any home hair dye products. Please At all times refer to the product for full safety instructions. Top tips for home hair dye: Use an old towel as permanent hair dye may stain it. Apply moisturising cream to your hairline to avoid staining from the permanent hair dye. Hair Dye can only lighten your natural hair colour 1 to 2 levels – check the back of pack to see if it is the right hair colour shade for you. You probably have long or thick hair, use two hair dye boxes. 1. Start by putting on gloves and instantly mix the colour cream into the developer cream bottle. Shake well to mix. 2. Apply the mix in sections, starting with your roots and working through to the ends 3. Leave to develop for 30 mins, as stated on the instructions. 4. Rinse until the water runs clear and apply the nourishing conditioner and rinse again.

Hair colourants can cause severe allergic reactions. Read and follow the instructions. This product is not intended for use on persons under the age of 16. Temporary “black henna” tattoos may increase your risk of allergy. Do not colour your hair if: You have a rash on your face or sensitive, irritated and damaged scalp, You have ever experienced any reactions after colouring your hair, You have experienced a reaction to a temporary ‘black henna” tattoo in the past. You should do an allergy alert test without fail 48 hours before each use of this product (follow the instruction leaflet). Keep in mind that to buy this product in advance to do the allergy alert test 48 hours before use. The developer contains hydrogen peroxide. The cream colourant contains: phenylenediamines, resorcinol and ammonia. Avoid contact of the product with eyes. Do not use to dye eyelashes or eyebrows. Rinse eyes immediately and thoroughly if product comes into contact with them. Wear the gloves supplied in the carton. Rinse hair thoroughly after application. Wait 2 weeks after lightening, relaxing or perming the hair before applying the colourant. Do not use if your hair has been coloured with henna or a progressive colourant. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on children. Follow the instruction leaflet.
