Wrexham lager is Britain’s oldest lager brew. The brewery was originally founded in 1882 by German immigrants (Ivan Levinstein & Otto Isler) trying to recreate the lager taste that they missed from their homeland. A taste which has remained true over the years. After years of success, including being served on the Titanic and at Khartoum as early as 1898, the Brewing industry declined in the 1980s and Wrexham Lager was forced to close down. However in 2011 a team of local Brewers re-established the brand in a Micro-brewery, Wrexham Lager was back and just as good as it always was. The Wrexham Lager Export Bottles here are a clear, crisp beer at 5% abv.
