Fifty Pounds Gin is our name not our price. Our recipe is secret, but we’re open about the botanicals used. The resulting gin is triple-filtered to achieve optimum smoothness. Our botanicals are carefully selected from four different continents including Juniper from Croatia, Coriander seeds from the Middle East, Orange and Lemon peel from Spain, Angelica Root from Western Europe, Savory from the south of France, Licorice Powder from Southern Italy and Grains of Paradise from Western Africa.

Well balanced with juniper very distinctive at the front, followed by citrus peels, woody notes from coriander, balanced by grains of paradise
Distilled to perfection in small batches of 1000 bottles at a time, triple-filtered to achieve optimum smoothness bottled at 43.5% abv
Produced at Thames Distillers in south-west London by master distiller Charles Maxwell
The name pays tribute to London’s rich gin history, taking our name from the Gin Act of 1736.
