Whitley Neill is a handcrafted gin of exceptional quality inspired by the vivid beauty and mystery of Africa, and a never-ending drive for perfection. Its popularity, both in the United Kingdom and in a foreign country, has stemmed from its unique flavour combinations and botanicals, including the usage of the baobab fruit and Physalis from Africa.

Distilled in small batches by Johnny Neill, a right away descendant of Thomas Greenall and the last in a long line of distillers, it brings together 8 generations of expertise since 1762 and a life-long love of adventure. The result is an inimitable, award-winning gin that skilfully blends and balances rare African botanicals and bizarre aromatics, to create an enigmatic experience to savour. Distilled in a copper still which is over a century old, this gin used to be awarded a Double Gold at the 2007 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and Gold medals at the International Wine and Spirits Competition and the Chicago Beverage Testing Institute.

The Whitley Neill portfolio has now expanded with the addition of a quince-flavoured gin, described as the first product of its kind in the United Kingdom. The gin, made with real quince fruit, is inspired by the travels of the Neill family through Persia in the 1900s.

There is also the newly released Rhubarb and Ginger Gin variation, taking inspiration from closer to the Whitley family’s homestead – the glory of a traditional English country garden. Alongside Whitley Neill’s signature botanical, the Baobab fruit, this gin is infused with the essence of rhubarb and extracts of real ginger.

Whitley Neill Original – The Gin is somewhat softer than more traditional gins and very smooth with rich juniper and citrus, pot pourri and exotic spices. The finish is a long one with a subtle fade of herbs, cocoa and candied lemon peels, at the same time as the nose is both citrus sweet and peppery, with a distinctive floral aroma.
Whitley Neill Quince – Whitley Neill original Dry Gin is somewhat softer than more traditional gins and very smooth with rich juniper and citrus, pot pourri and exotic spices. The addition of the Quince gives a distinct yet subtle citrus sweetness with a smooth long finish.
Whitley Neill Blood Orange Vodka – A handcrafted vodka of exceptional quality, bursting with the dynamic citrus flavour of Sicilian Blood Orange. A zesty and earthy, fruity vodka that may be enjoyed on its own or in cocktails.
