Burning Barn rum is, endearingly, named after the circle of relatives’s barn, which burned down in September 2015; making it perhaps the finest tribute to a barn or shed ever created by man. This catastrophe inspired the Warwickshire-primarily based circle of relatives, which had long been producing fruit, to show their skills to spirits and create two rums which reflect the warmth and smoke of the barn fire (which used to be, prophetically, fuelled by sugar). This spiced rum has been designed to have real warmth and is mixed with hand-roasted ginger, bird’s eye chilli, dark molasses, toasted coconut, allspice and vanilla.
