This unique blend of Jamaican Pot Distilled and Trinidadian Column Distilled Rum, brings tropical notes of tinned pineapple and banana, with hints of macadamia and almond nuts, followed by grassy notes with cherry and citrus, and finishes with a lingering flavour of raisins, vanilla and cacao.
William George is a blend of six rums (all based off Blackstrap Molasses), from five distilleries. Four of these rums are from four separate distilleries at the Island of Jamaica and two are from the Island of Trinidad. This type of two rums from Trinidad is aged two to three years in, once used, 200 litre ex-bourbon barrels and then carbon filtered to take away colour.
This exceptional white rum honours the memories of William and George whose love, commitment and sacrifice was once unquestionable. William George Rum was once blended without any emphasis on age or origin, focusing as a substitute on an honest, bold flavour without any additives. This can be a small tribute to two great men who sought to bring blissful happiness for decades of time.
