The charred Virgin Oak casks give Black Bottle the sweet, woody flavours, which can be regularly associated with Bourbon whiskey.
With a unique blending process, Black Bottle is double matured, with the second one maturation happening in Virgin Oak casks from Kelvin Cooperage in Kentucky.
