Yep, That Boutique-y Whisky Company have only gone and bottled some Karuizawa, arguably essentially the most collectable and rarest whisky… on the planet.
This first batch has been aged for 19 years and limited to simply 186 bottles world wide, that is as sought after as unicorn tears.
A warm, creamy and complex nose of cocoa, oak, spice, grapes and red fruit. The palate is sweet and spicy with caramel, char spice and an actual red fruit jaminess. The finish is rather drying and salty first of all before more fruity sweetness comes out on the very end.
