Building at the international success of the Teeling 21 and Teeling 24 Year Old single malts, Teeling now present their recent release; Teeling 28 Year Old Single Malt. This whiskey is composed of the similar liquid as the World’s Best possible Single Malt winning 24 Year Old single malt, aged for a further four years. This can be a very limited release of vintage single malt whiskey, celebrating the perfect that Teeling has to supply.
Initially aged in Ex- Bourbon casks and finished in Sauternes, this special whiskey is proscribed to simply 4,000 bottles.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose – White peaches, cut grass, white chocolate and a hint of toasted almonds.
Palate – Silky smooth with ripe peaches, honey, smoked sea saltiness and subtle spices at the tongue.
Finish – Long and mellow with a continuation of sweet spice.
