A limited edition Single Sherry cask Wolfburn, released specially for Father’s Day 2019. One among best 320 bottles. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 56.9% ABV.
Supplier Tasting notes:
Nose – sherry sweetness is followed by demerara sugar and heather honey, with hints of apple blossom.
Palate – dried fruit prevails with apple, pear and gooseberries all present. Sweet on the palate, honey and butterscotch give option to light spices including cloves and cinnamon. There’s an exquisite wealthy creaminess; an enormous depth of flavour.
Finish – the finish lingers longer than expected, with the honey and sherry notes fading on the very end. A really lovely dram.
