Product description
2018 used to be an exceptionally dry and warm vintage, but thanks to an early harvest, the natural acidity of the grapes has been preserved. Gentle pressing used to be followed by spontaneous barrel fermentation and a five-month maturation process in Hungarian oak, producing a beautifully balanced wine.
The nose is dominated by pear, mint, and floral notes, with a hint of vanilla in the background. Wealthy palate with a long, intensely mineral finish. Perfect to drink now, this wine will show beautifully after a couple of more years of laying down.

Tokaj Nobilis Winery, Tokaj – Secure Designation of Origin (PDO)
The philosophy of Sarolta Bárdos, owner-winemaker at Tokaj Nobilis, is that good wine begins in the vineyard, as the quality of the grapes will have a great influence on the quality of the end product. With extremely low yields, they harvest super-concentrated fruit with high sugar content. The vinification process is carried out in the most natural and gentle way conceivable so to preserve the whole lot the grapes have to offer. Minimal intervention and now certified organic production ensure pristine quality. The Nobilis portfolio includes estate wines, vineyard selections, a sparkling wine and late harvest in addition to Aszú sweet wines.
