As South Africans, we were brought up eating a large number of high proteins snacks including biltong and droewors (Dried sausage). Incessantly we would be set off on pony rides into the veld, armed with nothing but a bottle of water and a bag of sliced biltong. Having lived in the UK for fifteen years and making our own biltong, (what the shops had to offer wasn’t what we needless to say as being Biltong) We determined to start selling our own version, selling slowly, it was once a huge hit and we realised that there was once a gap out there for our products and so Frontier was once born. We now have a little factory that is EHO approved and we employ less than 5 people to bring to you an authentic South African Delicacy at an affordable price.We are hoping you give our products a try and enjoy every tasty bite! We lovingly hand cut strips of premium beef, cure them the use of our traditional seasoning and hang to dry for up to five days, producing a mouth watering, delicious and tender biltong.
