Handmade ham, following age-old traditions, made with the hind leg of top Iberian pigs specially decided on by Estirpe Negra. The pigs are reared semi-extensively on farms in Extremadura (Spain), and are fed on a cereal-primarily based diet. The hams are cured slowly in natural drying houses and cellars.
This ham has a gentle, yet intense style, low in salt, with a smooth texture which could be very pleasant at the palate. Ideal for a snack at anytime friends or the entire circle of relatives.
Presentation: Whole ham, with traditional ‘V’-cut skin.
Curing: 27 – 32 Months
