The wipes are made from a sustainably sourced, naturally derived viscose – a cellulosic wood fibre that is the most abundant and renewable biopolymer on Earth. They are soft, strong and fragrance free and are suitable for use from birth as they are as gentle as cotton wool and water. Not just for nappy changes, but mild enough for hand & face clean ups too! We keep our ingredients to a minimum, and 99.5% of our ingredients are natural. Every ingredient we use has been handpicked for its gentle, moisturising properties. Our wipes are hypoallergenic & dermatologically tested, ensuring they are suitable for even the youngest babies, and for those with sensitive and ec-zema-prone skin.

Mum & You baby wipes are made using sustainably sourced, naturally derived viscose – a special material made from the most abundant and renewable wood fibre on Earth.

We’re doing our bit to help prevent plastic going to landfill by moving our wipes packaging into a 100% recyclable wrap, ensuring our packs can be recycled with carrier bag recycling at larger stores, such as supermarkets.

And now our pack design is looking a little different too. We know that wipes are an everyday essential, but that’s no reason for them to look uninspiring!

We’ve introduced our Nappychat characters to brighten your day and help inspire chat about colours, shapes & characters at change time.

There are 6 assorted designs available – one for every room in the house, the change bag, the car and anywhere else we know you need to keep wipes handy!

And although our packs are now bright and fun, our wipes are still as mild, gentle and suitable for sensitive baby’s skin as ever.

100% Biodegradable & Why’s that Better?

Traditionally, wet wipes contain plastic fibres, which break down and congeal to form ‘fatbergs’ – large, non-biodegradable obstacles in the environment which cause damage to riverbeds, water ways and wildlife and ends in the sea. The average parent uses 10-20 wipes a day, it doesn’t take long for plastic-based wipes to cause considerable damage to the environment.

Our wipes contain zero plastic. They are made from a sustainable, naturally derived viscose – a cellulosic fibre that’s the most abundant and renewable biopolymer on Earth. Our natural plant fibres break down and biodegrade in as little as15 days after being thrown away, reducing overall contribution to landfill.

Because they’re made using plant fibres, they’re suitable for home composting, but for hygiene it’s still best to dispose of wipes used for nappy changes in the normal bin. To further protect our environment and waterways, please never flush our wipes – we would never recommend disposing of wipes this way.

How long will they last?

Mum & You wipes will remain as good as new for up to 3 months after opening, and unopened packets can be kept much longer, so there’s no need to worry when ordering larger quantities. Select boxes of 12 or 18 packs of 100% biodegradable baby wipes. Each individual pack contains 56 baby wipes, which lasts the average single-child family around a week.

A single pack of our 100% biodegradable wipes seem to fit in most designated wipes pockets of most changing bags. The dimensions of a single pack of wipes are 21x9x4(cm).
