A deep garnet red colour witnesses the long barrel ageing. The primary impression at the nose is of unpolluted black cherry aromas, leading into notes of maraschino cherry and plum. Immense depth and complexity at the palate: dried fruit, oolong tea, liquorice, spice, red-berry fruits, and a protracted velvety vanilla note at the finish. On the other hand, the important thing to this wine has were given to be the wonder level. It’s genuinely dry, unlike many brand new-style competitors.
