The great thing about this wine extends from the bottle to the contents. Layers of raspberry, strawberry fruit within the nose invite you to a lovely, yet spicy palate. A fresh wine with great acidity for food pairing, but roundness to enjoy by itself. When you only have one bottle to bring – that is without equal wine for any occasion.
The Ultimate Provence vineyard spans 100 acres across the town of La Garde Freinet, on the northern foot of Notre Dame des Anges chapel. Set in wild countryside and bordered by a vast evergreen oak forest, the vineyard is characterised by shallow soil, laid on a water resistant subsoil sandstone slab. This excellent terroir is nourished with a natural compost of oak leaves and vine stalks. The plots are marked out with grassy areas.
