The mask has an anatomical origami folded shape, which makes it more comfortable to talk and breathe under the mask.
Ear loops made of soft elastic ensure comfortable and easy wearing of the mask without touching the inside surface with your fingers.
I intentionally did not add a filter pocket so as to steer clear of touching the inside of the mask with the fingers before wearing it.
For cleaning, the mask must be washed per hand or machine wash a minimum of 60° Celsuis after every wear or be scalded with boiling water, or then again hot ironed or an hour (under supervision!) at min. 70° Celsius oven dried.
Hand-sewn mouth-nose masks like these, so-known as community masks, don’t seem to be a medical device in keeping with the Medical Device Directive (93/42 / EEC) and are only intended for private use as garment to reduce droplet ejection.
