Bacon is a cut prepared from pork belly. This in itself produces a highly flavoured meat and to add to this it is then salted, and massaged by hand. Then, it is sprinkled with spices, aromatized herbs and pepper, which gives it an intense flavor. The Bacon is then moved to a drying room and after this is aged for a further ten days.
