Exquisite dark peated amber in colour.
A beautiful wealthy, fruity nose-astonishing for a whisky which is over 45 years old. Very sweet, almost toffee apple sweet.
A big whisky, highest in front of an open fire. It is a real armchair whisky, one that you’ll be able to sit down and enjoy for a long time. Like a very heavy sherry, or a heavy treacle pudding sprinkled with christmas spices.
The long, wealthy finish turns out to last for hours and oozes toffee sweetness.
