It’s measured the use of the MGO rating. MGO stands for methylglyoxal; that is the naturally occurring compound that provides Manuka Honey it’s special properties. Simply put, the upper the MGO rating at the front of the jar, the greater the anti-bacterial strength present throughout the honey.
